Click here to view our Shalah Manot page thanking all our generous vendors who supported our synagogue for Purim 2023!  Sisterhood wants to thank those who participated in their Shalah Manot Purim Baskets project.  It was a huge success.  Not only did we raise much needed funds to support the synagogue and our surrounding community, most importantly, you had the opportunity to satisfy the mitzvah of Shalah Manot.   We hope you are enjoying the treats in the baskets.  Make sure you use the bags when you go shopping – another mitzvah.  Thank you also to all the people who helped make reciprocal phone calls, who helped pack the bags, and who helped hand out the bags.  We couldn’t do it without all of you.

Look what fun we had during our Paint Night in May 2019

Past Programs:

Sisterhood’s first function for 2021-22 was an extremely successful and well-received virtual program.   “The Word Mavens”, a joint evening with the Sisterhood of Midway Jewish Center, was held on  Thursday, September 23.  We enjoyed a dinner from Ben’s, then Beth Melideo, our 2021-2022 Woman of Achievement, explained the holiday Sukkot and why we eat in the sukkah.  Lastly the Word Mavens led us through memory lane through the language of our ancestors.  It was a wonderful program.

For more information on our Paid Up Membership Program on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, click here.  Join Sisterhood and join us for another fun evening together, B’yachad.

Sisterhood Shabbat 2022 was on January 28-29.  Click here for the program.
